Service Description
Certain groups are recommended to receive a COVID-19 vaccine twice a year as part of the Spring campaign. These include: Adults aged 80 and over Adults (18+) living in long-term care facilities Individuals aged 6 months and older with weakened immune systems Vaccination may also be offered outside seasonal campaigns when medically necessary. This includes people who are pregnant, starting immunosuppressive treatment, or those who have not yet been vaccinated but are eligible under national guidelines. Eligible individuals can receive a vaccine at least three months after their last COVID-19 vaccination or infection, in line with official guidance. Vaccines are available free of charge. People aged 12 and over can get vaccinated through participating GPs and pharmacies. Special arrangements are in place for residents of care facilities, housebound individuals, and children under 12. For children under 12, parents or guardians can arrange appointments by contacting HSELive.
